We never really know how we touch the lives of others. One time a man stopped, in the rain, in the grocery store parking lot and offered to take my grocery cart into the store for me. That was before Olivia (my three year old daughter) was born and I still sometimes pray for him because his doing that little thing, touched my heart so very much at that time. He probably thought nothing more of it, yet someone has prayed for him many times for that one kind deed.

There is a teacher from my college (Savannah Tech) days, who helped me so much just by letting me know that my ideas and opinions had merit. She literally "changed my life". There was the visiting teacher who kept coming and never made me feel that she thought less of me because I was inactive in the church. (I was baptized at 12 and then moved back to granny's (Susie) house, we never went to church there). The visiting teacher helped to make my coming back to church, a little easier.

We truly never know how many people we touch with the smallest deeds or words... I've tried at times, to let certain people know what they've meant to me. I've written letters and told some how much they're little "touch" meant to me. I think it's important that we try to do that. Even the strongest among us need to know they are making a difference.
